DEHV
Scent meets sculpture.
A brutalist collection campaign for concrete candles — material, light and an oversized grotesk.

Scent meets sculpture.
Why this line, for this business.
The business
DEHV makes concrete candles and takes on custom projects. The vessels are the product: cast, architectural and reusable.
The goal
Position the collection the way the vessels deserve — as objects — and give wholesale and custom conversations a visual they can forward.
The central idea
If the vessel is sculpture, the campaign should behave like an architecture monograph. Concrete planes, one curved beam of persimmon light and a wordmark big enough to feel cast. The scent is implied by the light; the sculpture is implied by everything else.
Light is the only color.
Chalk grey and charcoal everywhere except one persimmon arc. It reads as warmth, as flame, and as the single accent a wholesale line sheet can reuse.
Type at architectural scale.
The condensed grotesk is set as tall as the image. Tiny grid labels around the board reference drawing conventions and keep the system feeling precise.
Split, don’t layer.
Image on one side, type on the other. In the vertical story the headline rotates to keep the same split — a move that becomes a recognizable brand behavior.
Grid, grotesk, one accent.
A two-panel structure with a fixed type column. The image panel can take a real cast vessel, a material close-up or the abstract study used here; the type column never moves.
Two-panel split. Wordmark top of the type column, headline below, CTA at the base. Grid labels at the board edges.
The image panel. Abstract planes now; approved product or process photography later.
Landscape keeps type horizontal. Vertical rotates the headline 90° so the split survives a narrow frame.
Two formats.
One identity.
The landscape hero and the vertical story were designed together so the campaign reads the same on a website banner and on a phone. This is the completed, deliverable artwork; everything in section 05 builds on it.

Words that match
the pictures.
Starter copy in the campaign’s voice — a headline, a supporting line, three social captions and an email subject. Written to show the tone; the business would refine every line.

Supporting lineHand-cast concrete vessels, refillable by design. A collection for shelves that take objects seriously.
Call to actionExplore the collection
- Cast, cured, poured. The vessel outlasts the candle. Scent meets sculpture.
- Custom projects for studios, hotels and shops that want a piece, not a product. Explore the collection.
- One beam of light. One block of concrete. That’s the whole idea.
Scent meets sculpture — the DEHV collection
Completed assets.
Proposed extensions.
The two completed pieces are the complimentary concept. The rest is how the idea could grow if the business wants to take it further — each would be scoped separately and built from approved brand assets.
Campaign hero · 3:2
The landscape design on the board above.
Vertical story · 9:16
Rotated-headline story version.
Motion cut
The persimmon arc sweeps across the planes; the wordmark lands last. Six seconds, loopable.
Wholesale line sheet
Same grid and accent carried into a two-page PDF for stockists and custom-project inquiries.
Product round two
Approved photography of actual vessels drops into the image panel without changing the type column.
The system is deliberately strict so real product photography can replace the abstract study without touching the type.

Sample copy and rollout plan
Created as a complimentary, self-initiated concept and shared with the business as a proposal.
What it is not
An independent concept for a real business, created without its involvement. The artwork is AI-assisted and illustrative; it does not depict DEHV’s vessels or premises.
No commission, client approval or measured results exist for this work. Motion, print and email items in the rollout are proposals only.
