Soft Ember
Slow the moment.
A mood-led collection campaign — a sun disappearing behind linen hills, and a line about taking your time.

Slow the moment.
Why this line, for this business.
The business
Soft Ember pours small-batch candles and organizes its collections by mood rather than by fragrance family.
The goal
Give the mood-based collections a campaign language that feels like the moods themselves, so each new drop can arrive as a scene rather than a scent list.
The central idea
Slowing down is the product. The hero shows the exact second the sun goes behind the hill — the moment people light a candle — rendered in soft painterly gradients so it feels like a feeling, not a place.
Paint, don’t photograph.
Painterly gradients and linen texture keep the imagery clearly illustrative and let future collections change the sky without reshooting anything.
Let the headline breathe.
A delicate oversized serif, centered, with the sun just below it. The CTA sits small at the base so the composition stays quiet.
A palette per mood.
Dusty blue and dusk peach for this scene. The same hills can be re-colored for a morning, a rainy afternoon or a late-night collection.
One scene. Many skies.
The scene is the system: hills, sun, headline. Each mood collection changes the gradient and the line. Over a year the drops read as a series, which is the whole point of mood-based collections.
Tracked brand name at the top, serif headline centered in the upper third, CTA at the base. Linen texture on every surface.
Sky color, position of the sun and the headline. Each collection gets its own hour of the day.
Landscape keeps the headline on one row above the horizon. Vertical stacks it and raises the horizon.
Two formats.
One identity.
The landscape hero and the vertical story were designed together so the campaign reads the same on a website banner and on a phone. This is the completed, deliverable artwork; everything in section 05 builds on it.

Words that match
the pictures.
Starter copy in the campaign’s voice — a headline, a supporting line, three social captions and an email subject. Written to show the tone; the business would refine every line.

Call to actionFind your quiet ritual
- The sun goes. The candle comes on. Slow the moment.
- Collections by mood, not by fragrance chart. Start with the one that sounds like tonight.
- Poured in small batches, which is another way of saying slowly.

Completed assets.
Proposed extensions.
The two completed pieces are the complimentary concept. The rest is how the idea could grow if the business wants to take it further — each would be scoped separately and built from approved brand assets.

Vertical story · 9:16
Stacked-headline story version.
Motion cut
The sun sinks one notch behind the hill as the sky warms; the headline fades up. Six seconds.
Collection series
Three further skies for three further moods, delivered as a matched set of hero + story pairs.
Email + shelf card
A header for the drop announcement and a small card for markets and stockists.
The real test is the second collection: change the sky, keep the hills, and see whether it still reads as Soft Ember.

What it is not
