Rooms that know you.
Why this line, for this business.

The business

Jessica Alpert Design is an interior design studio in Studio City, founded in 2019, working from new builds through to furnishing.

The goal

Give a studio whose work is bespoke a campaign that doesn’t show other people’s houses — something for new-client inquiries and project-launch posts that feels like the studio, not a portfolio.

The central idea

The plan is where every project starts; the lit room is where it ends. A fine graphite floor plan, most of it faint, with one room glowing amber as if someone just turned on a lamp. The headline promises the part of design that isn’t visible in a photograph.

01

Plan, not portfolio.

A drawn floor plan never shows a client’s home and never fabricates an interior. It shows the studio’s way of thinking instead.

02

One lit room.

Amber light in a single room is the whole emotional move — the moment a drawing becomes somebody’s evening.

03

Brass, graphite, linen.

A hairline brass rule, pencil greys and a cream linen texture. Materials a designer would actually specify.

Draw the plan. Light one room.

Every project post can use the same device: that project’s plan, the room that mattered most lit up, a line about it. For inquiries, a generic plan and the headline. The studio gets a visual signature without ever posting a client’s photograph it would rather hold back.

Fixed

Cream linen field, graphite plan, one amber-lit room, brass hairline, refined serif headline, hairline-sans annotations.

Variable

The plan itself, which room is lit, and the headline or project line.

Format rule

Landscape lays the plan beside the headline. Vertical places the plan below it with the lit room centered.

03 / The completed boardHero + story, as delivered.

Two formats.
One identity.

The landscape hero and the vertical story were designed together so the campaign reads the same on a website banner and on a phone. This is the completed, deliverable artwork; everything in section 05 builds on it.

Words that match
the pictures.

Starter copy in the campaign’s voice — a headline, a supporting line, three social captions and an email subject. Written to show the tone; the business would refine every line.

Headline

Rooms that know you.

Supporting line

Interior design from the first drawing to the last lamp, for people who want their home to feel like theirs.

Call to action

Social captions
  • A plan is just lines until one room lights up. Rooms that know you.
  • New build or new sofa — we start the same way, with a drawing. Start a project.
  • The best compliment we get: ‘it feels like us.’

05 / Proposed rolloutWhat exists, what could follow.

Completed assets.
Proposed extensions.

The two completed pieces are the complimentary concept. The rest is how the idea could grow if the business wants to take it further — each would be scoped separately and built from approved brand assets.

Vertical story · 9:16

Story version with the lit room centered below the headline.

Completed

Project-launch template

Each new project announced with its own plan and lit room, before any photos exist.

Proposed

Inquiry one-sheet

A single page with the headline, the device and how a project begins.

Proposed

Motion cut

The plan draws itself in graphite; the room warms to amber last. Six seconds.

Proposed
06 / The takeawayScope & notes.

The project-launch template is the quiet win: the studio can announce work months before it can photograph it.

Sample copy and rollout plan

Created as a complimentary, self-initiated concept and shared with the business as a proposal.

What it is not

An independent concept for a real business, created without its involvement. The artwork is AI-assisted and illustrative; the floor plan is invented and does not depict any client’s home or the studio’s work.

No commission, client approval or measured results exist for this work. Motion, print and email items in the rollout are proposals only.
